Guardian Pistol I
- You’ve decided to have a pistol for self-defense and/or daily carrying. What now? This class is here to help you answer that question! In Guardian Pistol 1, we will gain an understanding of carrying a pistol on our person and how to draw and use it effectively while also being safe. In addition to these essential skills, you will learn how to efficiently reload your pistol and work through any problems it might present.

Course Prerequisites: Firearms Awareness for the Practical Guardian AND Elemental Pistol
Course Description: After covering the 4 basic safety rules, we will discuss how to properly set up your carry gear. The class begins with learning how to efficiently draw the pistol from the holster. Whether carrying OWB at 3 o’clock, IWB or AIWB, we work to make your draw stroke as efficient as possible. You will also learn how to safely manipulate your pistol which includes learning to keep it loaded and clearing malfunctions.
Aside from safety, our focus is always on getting your hits. Speed and tactics go out the window if you can’t hit your target. Only hits count!
